Brad Cupito, Director of Basketball Operations

Having played an integral role in developing student-athletes for three years, About U is proud to announce the introduction of its basketball program. In an effort to grow the About U brand, co-founders George Lanese and Alex Coombs have partnered with Brad Cupito, who will serve as Director of Basketball Operations. Having played both collegiate football and basketball, Brad brings experience as a former high school varsity head coach and AAU head coach to About U. The mission of the About U Basketball Program will mimic in many ways the successful blueprint established with football, developing young student-athletes academically, socially, and athletically. We have put a plan in place that allows young men and women in greater NYC to open doors for themselves that otherwise might not be. On court skill sessions, plus weight room strength and conditioning training. Academic test prep and study skills training. Life skills development featuring guest speakers from multiple industries.

After learning about the program, it was something I very much wanted to be a part of and the timing was right for the program to expand into basketball.
