Growing up in NYC, I was exposed to the opportunities the city had to offer, diversity and various cultures. In college for the first time, I saw the quality of life of students outside of NYC and experienced the negative stereotypes associated with NYC student-athletes. This led me into coaching, then joining the About U team. Through our About U core values, we create opportunities while tearing down the negative stigma of NYC children.
